PHILOSOPHY
Lessons
I teach students of all levels and ages, providing personalized instruction to help them achieve their musical goals. My current studio consists of a range from young beginning students all the way to high school students who have earned positions in prestigious ensembles such as the California All-State Music Ensembles and have secured principal positions in their local youth orchestras.
With over five years of teaching experience, I am committed to guiding students through structured mentorship, effective practice strategies, and a strong foundation in musicianship in order for them to reach their full potential.
Mission
Developing students from the ground up: refining their skills to their fullest potential. I emphasize problem-solving and time management, equipping students with the tools to cultivate an efficient and productive workflow.
Each week, students receive personalized lessons tailored to their unique strengths and goals. I place a strong emphasis on foundational techniques while also fostering virtuosic musicianship. Additionally, I provide structured practice plans and effective methods to help students maximize their practice time.
Through my instruction, students will gain a deep understanding of core music theory concepts, and the intricacies of the clarinet repertoire.
